Chris Johnston and Penny Stephens take their children on their first big family adventure to Luang Prabang in Laos and find exactly what they're looking for. "It's a quiet place and also very safe so the kids could do their thing and we could do ours," Johnston says. "I visited Graceland with five friends of varying degrees of Elvis fanaticism and it was a highlight of our trip for all," she says.Robert Upe crawls through reeds and wades in rivers trying to catch an elusive brown trout in Tasmania. "At the end of the day, there's a trout on my line and the promise of a luxury lodge down the road," he says.
